There is no such thing as a quiet month in Las Vegas. While April may bring most parts of the country cold wet showers, here in sin city we can expect a forecast filled with an array of Las Vegas events, including fantastic concerts, comedy appearances and star power.
Music
Even if you missed the last night’s Country Music Awards, April is still full of music stars and incredible sounds. To start, the iconic 1980s rock band New Order will be preforming at the Cosmopolitan April 11. Then country music power couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill bring their signature sound to The Venetian on the 12, 13 and 26 in their Soul2Soul Tour.
April 12, Mandalay Bay will “shine bright like a diamond” with a concert by hip-hop diva Rihanna. Or instead, find yourself “living on a prayer” with Bon Jovi bringing down the house at the MGM Grand on the 20th. Boys II Men are set to serenade the Mirage in a two-night engagement the 20th and 21. Last but anything but least, Elton John returns to Las Vegas and can be found preforming from the 20th through the 30th at Caesar’s Palace.

Comedy
If getting a good laugh is more your style, then April also has a plethora of must see shows. Packing his famous chin, congenial style and of course hundreds of laughs to The Mirage the 12 and the 13 is The Late Show host, and comedian Jay Leno. Along with Leno, Jerry Seinfeld will be doing standup at Caesar’s Palace that Saturday as well.
For those into web redemptions or power tools, the end of the month has two celebrities whose fame and occasional shame continue to bring them audiences. Daniel Tosh of Tosh.0 bringing his on target, raunchy and pop culture related jokes to The Mirage the 19th of April. Over at the Venetian, legend Tim Allen will be preforming on the 20th.He will be closing out the month by demonstrating that his humor goes beyond sitcoms, power tools and being a man’s man and right back to standup where he got his start.
