Electric Daisy Carnival Success!

EDC transportation a hot commodity for three-day music fest in Las Vegas, Nevada

EDC Shuttle passes sold out days before the main event leaving carnival goers with little options for travel to the Las Vegas venue.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, JUNE 7, 2012 – The Electric Daisy Carnival has hit the ground running! The entire city is preparing for the 16th annual entertainment experience sponsored by Insomniac Events. For the second year in a row, Las Vegas’ EDC will feature music, theatrical performances and special effects throughout the three-day festival that will take place on June 8-10 at The Las Vegas Speedway.

An essential part of this event will be controlling vehicle traffic in and around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Over 330 thousand people are expected to attend this music fest with many opting for chauffeured shuttle transportation.

In view of the heavy traffic flow, EDC groupies have purchased shuttle tickets through the EDC website and are ready to sit back and enjoy the ride until they arrive to the largest sight and sound celebration in the world! Other EDC enthusiasts did not get so lucky—EDC shuttle passes sold two weeks before the main event and will have to either face the influx of vehicles themselves, or contact a car service at the last minute.

Those fans who arranged for a worry-free shuttle ride will be conveniently transported from select hotels along the Las Vegas Strip to the LVMS and back! Shuttles will be running regularly throughout the night.

AWG Ambassador—the preferred Las Vegas transportation provider for EDC will be one of various transportation companies in Las Vegas that will be shuttling 22 thousand EDC fans a night. A big transportation operation that will require the knowledge of experienced transportation professionals. AWG-Destination Management Company, AWG Ambassador’s sister company will be heading the chauffeured transportation effort for this entire event. Both companies relish in this opportunity of a lifetime. “This is a wave of the music future, an amazing thing that we are going to be a part of,” says Alan Waxler, owner of AWG Ambassador and AWG-DMC.
